Northumberland Dental Design
Freelance Project
During COVID-19, with the forced closure of many businesses including dentists across the UK, some framework specialists began to struggle to keep enough work on the books. One business reached out to me and asked if there was anything that I could do, knowing my skills in marketing and design, to maybe help reach a wider audience and hopefully attract more business.
Something that was very apparent, was the business relied on work from loyal clients that were mainly local and knew of business for a while. There was no online presence or branding. Therefore I knew this was the starting point, to create strong, professional branding that could be used across all of the companies materials and online platforms. Due to the name featuring Northumberland, I looked at what people vision when they think of the area, and overwhelmingly a lot of people thought of castles, due to the amount Northumberland is home to. Because of this, I decided to incorporate a castle design within a tooth.
Using this design, I then re-designed materials that were vital the company such as letters, dental forms and notepads. However, I knew creating an online presence was essential, so I created a Facebook business page and then went on to create a website, that could allow customers to discover the business, check out the price list and have a way to make enquiries. Using my SEO knowledge, I was able to get the page to the top of Google search results for some key phrases and went on to add a business profile in some local and dental directories. You can check out the website at: https://www.northumberlanddentaldesign.com/.
I’m happy to say, that now the company has lots of new clients and are being flooded with work all the time.
