This study intends to discover the underlying features that contribute towards the overall consistency of a brands identity across a varied range of media platforms both digital and non-digital. Implementing the findings into a series of artefacts furthers the understanding for a variety of businesses on how they can maintain brand identity and consistency from the design process to the production of content for a range of platforms, both digital and non-digital. Following the waterfall methodology, a series of surveys were conducted amongst a varied audience to determine the consistency and feel of the developed brand. Reviewing of the statistics concluded that to maintain consistent branding requires a series of understanding of the brand and its goals. Together with a developed style guide that explicitly determines the colours, font and overall feel the brand can be portrayed. 84% of the surveyed felt that the designed brand, which followed the research within this project while using a style guide, was consistent amongst all finalised artefacts. Results suggest that creating and following a brand style guide will significantly increase overall brand consistency across all series of media.
